23rd September 2004 Kite buggying - boarding: ynyslas Wind Direction: nnw Wind Stength: 20-25kts Surf / Sea State: n/a almost high tide Air Temperature: ok Sea Temperature: dunno Weather: sunny Max Speed: Distance Covered: had a blast on the mountain board, got a few airs but the tide was coming in and with a northerly wind didnt have much room to play. was well powered up however, good fun. nice to have the mountain board out for a change, little more productive! had a decent chat with charlie and his mate from birmingham uni kite club for about an hour. they didnt seem to be having too much success either, bit gusty. they were after some cheap accomodation in aber for the kite club to stay in, any ideas folks? ended up with the mother of all tangles with the kite too. boll***s |
